At Wilstead Pharmacy, we are proud to offer the NHS Contraception Service.

NHS Contraception service includes

Regular oral contraception
Emergency Contraception (Morning-after Pill)

Our Pharmacist will provide free and confidential advice and give support to help you choose the right contraceptive pill for your needs. You no longer need a prescription from your GP to get a supply of Oral contraceptive pills or Emergency Contraception.

Our trained pharmacists are here to guide you through your options and answer any questions you may have — all in a safe, private, and supportive environment.

At the time of appointment, our pharmacist will conduct a private consultation to discuss your needs and medical history. We may need to measure your blood pressure and Body Mass Index (BMI) as part of the consultation.
If appropriate, the pharmacist will offer a suitable contraceptive pill and provide instructions for its use.

If you are not eligible for this service, our pharmacy team will sign-post you to another healthcare provider where appropriate. Contact us or ask in the pharmacy about the NHS Contraception service.
